Market and Field Experience
Epik’s staff is experienced in marketing to the military and private sectors in the Middle East, Africa, and South America. Prior to establishing Epik, the principals accumulated years of experience working for Honeywell International, GE Aerospace, AlliedSignal Aerospace, Gulfstream Aerospace and Garrett Aviation for a combined total of 24 years, responsible for international marketing and sales of aerospace products. Such products included the sale of aircraft, aircraft systems and subsystems, integrated cockpits, jet engines, tank engines, avionics and navigation systems, ground support equipment, major aircraft modification and retrofits, airborne and ground radar systems and installations and anti-submarine detection systems..
Epik’s staff are also experienced in leading in-country marketing efforts, developing new markets and business opportunities, building and managing sales teams, negotiating contracts and closing sales for direct and aftermarket programs.
In addition, the principals successfully established a number of joint ventures in various countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Kuwait, as well as setting up local assembly and manufacturing sites to allow for the transfer of technology as required by most host governments.
During the past 5 years, Epik’s principals led sales and marketing efforts for US and European companies in the fields of photovoltaic and power generation, and represented client companies at international trade shows around the world while introducing them to counterparties in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Brazil, Russia, Greece and Italy. Follow-on support and services also included engagements to manage field installations of factories and industrial and commercial power generation projects in Europe and the Middle East.
